I want to start my own automotive consulting business, how do I do this?

Posted by admin

I have extensive experience in automotive sales, sales management, and automotive finance. I have trained sales personal in internet skills and phone skills that allow them to set more appointments, which in turn will allow them to sell more cars. In addition, I have trained sales forces in the “Road to the Sale” for many years. If a person wanted to get into the car business, I have the ability to take a raw recruit and give them the skills to make a very lucrative living in the automotive business. I see other people without the abilities that I have, starting and making good lives for both themselves as well as their family. How is this accomplished?

If you are a salesman then get out and start selling your service.

Will the train or car allow him to reach the sales meeting sooner?

Posted by admin

Train leaves at 8:00am going 80mph, but has a 30-minute layover halfway through.
Car leaves at 8:00am going 55mph.
Trip distance for both is 156 miles

which vehicle will arrive first and @ what time?

If the train is going 80 mph and traveling 156 miles, then it will take 1 19/20 of an hour or 1 hour 57 minutes. With the layover, it needs 2 hours 27 minutes. This is 2 9/20 hours.

The car is going 55 mph and travels 156 miles. It needs
2 46/55 hours, which takes longer than the train.

So, the train will arrive 10:27 am.

How do get a job as a car sales person?

Posted by admin

I want to be a car salesman part-time, and I want to know the requirements for this job, such as age, training, etc. I am 18, I graduated High School, I am not in or going to college, I know more than anyone I know about cars and I live in Pennsylvania if that matters at all. If anyone knows how much commission they get per sale, that would be helpful too. Thanks!
I know what the job is, I know more education is better, all I am asking for is the requirements such as basic training or age, I want to know if I can go to a dealer tomorrow and be at least eligible to get the job, and whether I do or not is not the current question.

You will need to be at least 18 but some dealers may require you to be 21. That is mostly due to insurance issues and could vary from one state to another. Knowledge of cars in important but more than that is sales ability. It is important to be able to make a good presentation and close the sale. Most dealers pay salesmen a percentage of what the dealer makes. Again, that could vary from dealer to dealer but I would expect around 30% of what the dealer makes. If the dealer has $100 of profit in a car then you would earn $30.00. I have known car salesmen who have earned in excess of $70,000. I would encourage you to continue your education. It will offer you greater opportunities as time passes. If sales is what you enjoy and want to do you might consider a degree in Marketing. A degree gives you options.

How do I get a job as an insurance claims adjuster for an auto insurance company?

Posted by admin

I am interested in changing my career to become a claims adjuster. Now I work in a body shop as a painter’s helper / jamb man. I have a bachelor’s degree in Economics and I once held an insurance license in South Carolina for life, accident and health insurance sales. I don’t like selling, though.
I have a good eye for detail, particularly with paint work and I am proficient with digital photography and computers.
I need to know if my experience is enough to get an entry level job as an adjuster or perhaps a similar type of job inspecting work from body shops for insurance companies.
Also, what duties would such a job entail, and what is the typical pay scale I could expect upon entry and after I have done the job for a few years?
Is there anything I can do now to better prepare me for the switch, such as getting some kind of license or specific research I could do online to train myself in my spare time?

Thanks in advance. The more detailed information you can give me the better.

You are gets good jobs with using the following webiste. I find this site is very workable and important.

Auto sales employment scams?

Posted by admin

I was seeking employment in auto sales. Everytime I get called in for an interview it turns up to be a sales training service that is supposedly gonna train me for 4 days and then send me to a dealsership…. is this the normal process for becoming a car sales person?

No. You should apply directly to the dealership. Large dealerships rotate through sales staff constantly. If you apply to several different dealerships, you should find at least one that is hiring.

They will all prefer some sales experience. If you don’t have it, you may go into a training program with them with little or no pay until you’re adequately trained. After that, the sky is the limit!
